Although some material suggests that they were used in early '69, no one has come up with any examples. 16 small valve heads were used in the 1970 'B' models. Ed.
24 feb 2024 · I’m adding in pulling the engine and many other things. Here is the list: Replace oil pan gasket and rear main seal. New timing cover from Kauffman. waterpump from flow cooler. Restored tri power and intake. Butler 65 psi oil pump. New bolts seals washers etc for pump, cover intake, fuel pump and oil pump. Paint engine.
22 ago 2024 · Depending on year, replacement involves removing the rear seat, seat back, rear quarter panels and headliner sail panels (ear muffs). The Package tray board tucks under the rear window molding and the front padded edge is glued to the seat back frame, The sides of the board have winglets that fold and tuck behind the sail panels.

I recently bought myself a retirement project - a 66 GTO and it's equipped with a 428 out of a 67 something with 670 heads and came with a triple duece that had major issues. Center carb was a GM and the outside two were Rochesters and the linkage was jacked up.

14 mag 2023 · R44’s are a good plug for iron heads and NGKs are good also. Maybe try leaning out the carb a little bit, or adjusting the choke slightly to lighten up the plugs.
