13 ago 2024 · Just had an email to learn that, apparently, I'm one of Santander's "most valued customers" (presumably because I've currently got 20 quid in my 123 Lite account, and they're very grateful) and so they're "upgrading" me to "Santander Select, our premier banking service".
21 set 2023 · This issue has been resolved by Santander. If you apply for the new fixed rate online/via app (as if for the first time) it gives you the option to upgrade an existing variable or fixed cash ISA (within 28 days of maturity). They will then automatically sweep the money across on the maturity date.
23 set 2024 · I only have experience of transferring a maturing Santander fixed rate ISA away to another provider but as that went smoothly, I wouldn't expect there to be any issues with an internal transfer. It may just take a day or so for the new account to show in online banking.

18 lug 2024 · The new Santander App now has a function to deposit cheques. However, it isn't working for me. Samsung S21 or Samsung S10. It used to work on the old app. It reads the data in off the cheque but then tells me that the photo is of poor quality. When I finally got through to the "help" desk. 8 mag 2023 · Outrageous Santander closing account without notice or explanation. I should like to bring to your notice what I think is a egregious example of mistreatment by a bank. I have banked with Santander (in its various iterations and takeovers) firstly as GiroBank, then Midland, then Alliance Leicester, and finally as Santander, since about 1955.

26 feb 2021 · On the Santander website you see the current balance, and balance incl. pending. But you don't see the pending transaction. Worse, you don't see it in "View pending payments and transfers". However on the mobile app you do see the transaction. For example. I made a debit card payment yesterday - fairly substantial.
