10 nov 2023 · The school in Newcastle was shut after Storm Babet damaged its roof and caused steel panels to collapse. It will reopen in phases from next week after scaffolding is installed to protect walkways.
The school has been shut since 18 October after its roof was damaged in strong winds. Parents and students are waiting for a date to reopen and are using online lessons at home.
