Michael Alexander Sturridge (born 18 September 1962) is an English former footballer who played as a forward. Originally on the books of Birmingham City, he did not make a professional appearance for the club and only played a handful of games for Wrexham and Nuneaton Borough before retiring. He later became a youth football scout.
6 apr 2023 · Mike and Grace Sturridge gave birth to Daniel Sturridge. Sturridge struggled to become a regular starter at Chelsea, appearing in just 63 games and scoring 13 goals in three seasons. During the 2010–11 season, he played 12 games while on loan with Bolton Wanderers, where he scored 8 goals.

Sturridge ha giocato per l'Inghilterra sin dall'Under-16. In particolare segna nella finale dell'Europeo under-17 contro la nazionale di calcio dell'Italia Under-17, due volte contro l'Olanda nel 2007 (per l'Under-18), e di nuovo nei recenti Europei Under-19 sempre contro l'Olanda. È stato convocato per l'Inghilterra Under-21, segnando il gol britannico nell'1-1 contro i pari età della Grecia. Ha guardato invece dalla panchina il 6-3 inflitto ai pari età della Macedonia e l'1-0 al Portogallo....
