As much as I would like to believe he's an innocent man, the evidence that has been presented doesn't suggest that.
24 gen 2024 · Zverev choked and Alcaraz finally played like a slam winner in the TB. Then the Spaniard threw the kitchen sink at Zverev midway throughout the third set but couldn‘t break the serve of the German, and Zverev then broke himself to close it out. Zverev was almost out against Klein, so to see him in the SF is surprising.
26 ago 2024 · Fascinating to see Zverev in live rankings at no.2. I wonder how long he will stay there? Strange to think if Sinner had been banned Zverev would be at No.1. Most interesting however is to see Djoker at no.4. When was the last time he was ever ranked that low?
24 gen 2024 · I guess this is a better version of Hurkacz-Medvedev although likely less net play — Zverev kinda was bad against Ruud in the RG 2023 SF so it's as likely he won't show great form against Medvedev as he is to maybe peak in front of a big crowd and would make him the "hero against the villainous Medvedev" as per Netflix but it would be sweet not gonna lie if Medvedev stops Zverev's delusion here.
22 gen 2024 · Zverev comes to the match after a 4-hour 5-set match. However, he didn't spend as much time on the court as at the 2023 US Open and it's the start of the season, so I think he has a bit more in the tank. Alcaraz looked really well today against Kecmanović (the Serb probably didn't have much left in the tank).
13 mag 2022 · Rome SF: Alexander Zverev [2] vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas [4] It is the third clay 1000 of the year and for the third straight time we have Zverev vs. Tsitsipas. You need to appreciate the consistency of these guys. Zverev won at Madrid, avenging his Monte Carlo loss.
17 apr 2022 · awhile ago when the youngsters the pundits had their eyes on were Kyrgios (Yep, they were that stupid) Zverev and Thiem. I prayed it would be Thiem so i wouldn't have to watch Zverev or Nick the Dick on a regular basis. AZ is quite dislikable, unless you just watched Kyrgios--then he's OK.
