William Thomas Ward (born 5 May 1948) is an English musician. He was a co-founder and the original drummer for the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Ward helped found Black Sabbath in 1968 alongside bandmates Ozzy Osbourne (lead singer), Tony Iommi (guitarist) and Geezer Butler (bass).

13 mar 2021 · Ward non partecipò al tour di reunion della band nel 2012 e alle registrazioni dell’ultimo album “13“. Secondo la sua versione ci fu disaccordo a livello contrattuale, mentre gli altri membri del gruppo dichiararono che il batterista non era fisicamente in grado di sostenere un tour.
