  1. 13 mag 2022 · Stefanos Tsitsipas in three. Rome SF: Alexander Zverev [2] vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas [4] It is the third clay 1000 of the year and for the third straight time we have Zverev vs. Tsitsipas. You need to appreciate the consistency of these guys. Zverev won at Madrid, avenging his Monte Carlo loss.

  2. 22 set 2024 · The German tennis star Alexander Zverev has expressed his displeasure about the long tennis season. At the Laver Cup in Berlin, Zverev said that the professional organization ATP would "not be interested in what the players say about the load" because it is "about money".

  3. 10 apr 2024 · Monte Carlo R16 Zverev (5) v Tsitsipas (12) Biggest match of the last 16. Tsitsipas, although in general on a downward trend at the moment, clay is his best surface and I believe he can still beat the best on clay. Zverev in contrast is getting back to his best after his injury and is heading back to the sort of form where he was a genuine slam ...

  4. 22 gen 2024 · Zverev comes to the match after a 4-hour 5-set match. However, he didn't spend as much time on the court as at the 2023 US Open and it's the start of the season, so I think he has a bit more in the tank. Alcaraz looked really well today against Kecmanović (the Serb probably didn't have much left in the tank).

  5. 24 gen 2024 · I guess this is a better version of Hurkacz-Medvedev although likely less net play — Zverev kinda was bad against Ruud in the RG 2023 SF so it's as likely he won't show great form against Medvedev as he is to maybe peak in front of a big crowd and would make him the "hero against the villainous Medvedev" as per Netflix but it would be sweet not gonna lie if Medvedev stops Zverev's delusion here.

  6. 24 gen 2024 · I'm also taking into account that Zverev never scored 2 consecutive top 10 wins in a Slam (he only scored 3 top 10 wins overall), let alone 2 consecutive top 4 wins (his win against Alcaraz here is his first). This is the reason I'm going with Medvedev in 4. In case Zverev serves first, I expect a score like 7-6 5-7 6-4 6-3 in Medvedev's favour.

  7. 15 ago 2023 · Alexander: Yeah, I think, especially after last week, last week was a really bad week for me in Toronto; just played really bad tennis, in general. And I think going out to play Doubles before your Singles is always, you know, helpful, in a way, especially... yeah, after last week, it was definitely helpful (smiles).

  8. 23 gen 2024 · The German looked pretty average against Norrie, though Norrie did play really well and was hitting as hard as I've ever seen him hit. Maybe the soaring day temperatures affected Zverev's game. Alcaraz, on the other hand, was looking really driven, ultra fit and hungry. The fact that this is a night game may help Zverev as he won't tire as quickly.

  9. 26 ago 2024 · Fascinating to see Zverev in live rankings at no.2. I wonder how long he will stay there? Strange to think if Sinner had been banned Zverev would be at No.1. Most interesting however is to see Djoker at no.4. When was the last time he was ever ranked that low?

  10. 26 gen 2024 · He might be guilty of domestic violence and pple have all the right here to not like him but I think the Zverev bashing in MTF has gone a little too far, I mean, he didn´t kill anyone and if proven guilty, he will have to face all the penalties imposed on him which, until now, don´t include to be banned from tennis like many here would like.
