Bert Jansch. Bert Jansch, all'anagrafe Herbert Jansch (Glasgow, 3 novembre 1943 – Hampstead, 5 ottobre 2011 [1][2]), è stato un chitarrista e cantautore scozzese, dedito soprattutto alla musica folk e al blues.
Herbert Jansch (3 November 1943 – 5 October 2011) [ 1 ] was a Scottish folk musician and founding member of the band Pentangle. He was born in Glasgow and came to prominence in London in the 1960s as an acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter. He recorded more than 28 albums and toured extensively from the 1960s to the 21st century.
7 lug 2023 · A new Bert Jansch live compilation, Best of Live, is coming to vinyl 11th December 2020. Filmed at The Sheffield Memorial Hall on 22nd April 2006 for Secret Records, it has been issued for the first time as a 2-disc set. Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Roger Lomas, the release features extensive sleeve notes by David Wells.
