Welcome to Marshalls Park Academy. I felt incredibly proud to be appointed the Headteacher of Marshalls Park in January 2016, and to be given the opportunity to lead the school in the next phase of its journey, and to this day I retain that great sense of pride for the school and its community.
Marshalls Park Academy (formerly Marshalls Park School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Romford, London, England.
At Marshalls Park Academy we aim to provide our students with a curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant to every one of our learners. Our curriculum is flexible enough to allow targeted individual students to have their own bespoke programmes of study so that they can make as much progress as possible.
Marshalls Park School was opened in 1936 as Pettits Senior Council School. It was enlarged in 1945-6 and later became Pettits Secondary School. In 1973 it was amalgamated with Romford County Technical School to form Marshalls Park Comprehensive, with this being known as the Upper School and Pettits Lane being the Lower School.
