Synopsis: Max's mother, Monique, died suddenly of a heart attack as she prepared to start a new life in Japan. As Max begins a romantic relationship, his mother's ghost appears draped in a kimono. Terrified but happy, he decides to make the most of this fantasized mother, even if it means isolating himself from those close to him.
