La sitcom, anche nella grafia sit-com (contrazione di situation comedy, lett. "commedia di situazione"), è un genere narrativo incentrato su un insieme di personaggi che vivono scene di vita quotidiana solitamente all'interno di una o poche ambientazioni.
A sitcom (a shortening of situation comedy, or situational comedy) is a genre of comedy centred on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode.
