The Moseley School of Art (grid reference) on Moseley Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, England was built as the first municipal branch School of Art in Birmingham. The Moseley School of Art was closed by the City of Birmingham Education Committee in 1976.
18 mar 2023 · The school was located on Moseley Road in Balsall Heath in Birmingham, and it became known for its excellent art education programs. It offered courses in painting, drawing, sculpture, and design, and it attracted many talented students and teachers over the years.
1975 saw the closure of the renowned Moseley School of Art. However, there were also new developments: beginnings of St Paul’s Project ( later Trust) in 1970 ; the first issue of the Balsall Heathan newspaper in 1973, Balsall Heath Carnival started in 1977.

13 apr 2019 · The historical significance of the building is recognised with its Grade II listing, alongside beautiful civic buildings on the Moseley Road, and one person coined what was starting to happen at The Old Print Works as ‘the missing Heart of Balsall Heath.’
