16 Horsepower was an American country rock band based in Denver, Colorado, United States. Their music often invoked religious imagery dealing with conflict, redemption, punishment, and guilt through David Eugene Edwards's lyrics and the heavy use of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and Appalachian instrumentation cross-bred with rock.

Le due facce di “Yours Truly” sono ben distinte e rispondono a logiche differenti. La prima ha le sembianze di un riassunto della storia dei 16 Horspower per come la racconterebbero i loro fan. La seconda è nient’altro che l’ombra dei loro angoli più remoti, quelli quasi dimenticati. Lato A, quindi. “People’s Choice”.
