It was easier to make than I (and probably most others) suspected, and looked pretty cool. It didn't last terribly long, though; just gutting dust of it was a delicate operation. 22 set 2010 · Jack Whileblood was an engineer who drove and managed the F1 shock absorber truck for Armstrong. He did have a bad accident but it was not as a F1 test driver--as I recall it was while returning to England after a race. I was with Firestone Racing from 1972-74 and got to know him quite well. Of course, so did everyone who ever met him!

The FIA has unveiled the provisional calendar for the 2009 season, confirming the arrival of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the absence of a race in the United States. The season will begin again in Australia in late March and will finish in Abu Dhabi in November. The calendar will have 19 races, one more than this year.
Formula 1 has become like Hollywood now, it's a very far and inscrutable world and drivers behave like Hollywood stars: maybe, all the «rules» of Show Business are valable also for Formula 1! We know every driver has his manager who deal with his image, and I wonder if they could manoeuvre his public life. «Spy Story» has proved that in Formula 1 nothing is like it looks!
