17 ott 2020 · If the CNN logo is red lettering in a white box, it's the US feed and more often than not with US time zone references. White lettering in a red box is the International feed, and usually reflects UK & European times zones. You’d think they could overlay the correct time zones for Europe.
2 set 2021 · Sky with over 10m subscribers managed to get a deal to keep CNN on. But Virgin media TV with 4m subscribers and BT TV with 2m subscribers did not have the leverage to get a good deal. The website also said "The UK is CNN’s third largest market behind the US and Canada in digital audience.
6 set 2021 · I often click on it by a mistake when turning my tv on and just realised cnn on there. Hopefully it stays on there as I do like to tune into cnn when something is going down in America especially during election time. Just seem this has been mentioned earlier in the thread. 3 gen 2022 · Serious discussions are taking place between Virgin and Sky with Disney, including switching over to a pan-European feed (no catchup or streaming rights), but as of right now, Disney is closing down the National Geographic UK linear channel on 1st February 2022 at 5am. All past content starts a mass migration over to Disney+ from this Wednesday.
25 ago 2021 · They confirmed I wouldn't lose CNN, but the channel was not part of any of their new TV channel packages, so I fought tooth and nail to be put back on my old package (Max, from memory, lol). It took a few months of being fobbed off before they switched me back. Now with this Virgin Media news, I fear CNN will get the chop on my package. Siiiiigh!

26 mag 2022 · This merger of BBC News and World News will also affect the sports bulletins as they wouldn't be able to show clips of sporting events not televised by the BBC (for example, French Open Tennis, Formula 1 and various football matches), like they would if bulletins were UK only, due to the Sports News access agreement.
24 apr 2022 · I think the idea is to re-introduce a cheaper option, subsidised by adverts. I don't think that those paying £15.99 a month will be affected, at least I hope not at that price! That’s the price for 4K and 4 concurrent streams. There are two cheaper option tiers. HD with 2 streams. SD with 1 stream is under £10.
11 lug 2016 · I mentioned CNN since they on the whole seem to be moving shows and presenters away from their HQ in Atlanta and seem to be broadcasting from various cities. Also, I know Hannah Vaughan Jones made the move from Sky overnights to CNN International and while Hannah is a good presenter the three who have left Sky are stronger .
24 ago 2021 · I watch CNN, it has some fantastic international news shows like Connect The World, Hala Gorani Tonight and Amanpour I love watching the international news shows, not keen on the CNN domestic output though. CNN needs to bring more of the International programmes back like Your World Today and The Brief.
