  1. 1 ott 2017 · Search for ltspice digital schmitt trigger model command. There are examples. There are probably better ways around it, but I use e to scale down signals to the 0-1 V level the ideal digital support, and then e on the output to scale up in voltage again to your Vcc. – winny. 2. 10 apr 2015 · CommentedApr 10, 2015 at 14:03. @MrPhooky: Yes, technically it's analog, but the linear region is so small that it might as well be a comparator. Basically like an IC opamp. If you want it to be stable with roughly equal inputs, you can add some positive feedback to produce a bit of hysteresis or "memory".

  3. 11 apr 2015 · The core of a comparator is usually a long-tailed pair. This is an arrangement of transistors which amplifies the difference between two signals, presents a high input impedance (especially if MOSFET), and usually somewhat rejects any common voltage. In circuit terms the long-tailed pair is close to the input of the comparator.

  4. 11 apr 2023 · As we can see, the resistor R3 (the OP's R5) is a part of the negative feedback network. So it is not necessary for the OP's comparator with hysteresis that needs only positive feedback. Regardless, since the OP is interested in this topic, I will consider a few famous versions of this configuration below.

  5. 23 mag 2016 · I've setup a simple circuit with an LM358 configured as a comparator (the ground rail and supply connections are off screen). Schematic: Breadboard: (in case I wired something wrong) Measured va...

  6. 15 giu 2012 · It is arguable that you could build a comparator that would not be described as "differential" but this would be unusual. This could occur if you used ground as one input. So, a 3V comparator would operate when the input was at 3V above ground - the other unseen differential input would be connected to a reference point 3V above ground.

  7. It's explained in Negative feedback capacitor in Op-Amp comparator circuit. R2 and C1 decrease the high-frequency gain of the comparator, so it won't rapidly flip between V+ and V- when the input is near the threshold. Edit: I've looked at the circuit some more, and I think a comparator is the wrong way to think about it.

  8. 2 dic 2015 · I need a VERY simple latching circuit using a comparator that will simply be off until a signal hits it (can be either + or -, I have no preference). The circuit should remain on until I reset it. comparator. latch. Share. Cite. edited Sep 24, 2022 at 8:01. ocrdu. 9,300 23 32 42.

  9. If the inverting input voltage is 3.000000V, and the non-inverting input voltage is 3.000001V, an ideal comparator will output 'high'. However, non-ideal comparators may have a mis-match, where there is an offset voltage. You can imagine this as an ideal voltage source in series with one of the comparator's inputs. See the example below.

  10. 20 dic 2017 · Calculating Slew Rate from a time-constant. I have to choose an op amp mainly based on slew rate. I am using the op amp as a differential comparator with dynamic (time) hysteresis with a time-constant 3τ = 500μs 3 τ = 500 μ s. My upper threshold of the hysteresis |Uth| = ±5 V | U th | = ± 5 V while my bottom is the minimal possible.
