1 giu 2018 · does anyone know if savefrom.net is safe. If you download something you're not sure about, run it through some scans. Whatever you have for antimalware, and there's plenty of free utilities online to upload suspicious files as well. Virus total being one of them, which also has a URL scanner.
1 mag 2016 · A friend of mine said that if I want to download youtube videos (for editing purposes) that I should use savefrom.net. I checked to see if this site is legit, and people said that the chrome extension has recently turned to adware, but these claims weren't well tested, and I didn't want to use the extension anyways. Is it safe to use this site?

13 feb 2015 · However, this is not possible due to the Same Origin Policy, unless you use a Java applet that gets the source for you. But SaveFrom.net does not do that? Does anyone here have any idea what SaveFrom.net uses to get the HTML source of the YouTube video.

So yeah, pretty much what it says in the title, after using one of these download websites in the past i got pretty paranoid, i've scanned every link that i acessed in the site using virus total and all of them turned out clean, no redirects, nothing, but i can't help but wonder, is it safe? Paste this URL back into your browser, then right-click and Save As on the video. I have heard of sites like keepvid and savefrom but a lot of people tell you not to trust them.

There's a web browser (like google) app called Brave, and it has cool features like built in adblockers and VPNs, but on iPhone, by pressing the 3 dots in the corner and tapping "Add to Playlist", you can add your videos to a playlist where you can then hold the video and click "Save for Offline Cache" Afaik, you can only use the playlist on iPhone.
