Allan Jones was an American tenor and actor who starred in musicals and films in the 1930s and 1940s. He sang "The Donkey Serenade" in The Firefly and was the romantic lead in A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races with the Marx Brothers.

Born on October 14, 1907, in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, Allan Jones was an American actor and singer. His real name was Theodore Allen Jones and he was the son of a Welsh miner. Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Jones worked in a coal mine until 1926.
