Le Grand Palais achève la plus importante rénovation de son histoire. Depuis deux ans, le réalisateur Stefan Cornic suit cette métamorphose avec sa caméra et la met en perspective avec la multitude d’événements que le bâtiment a connus depuis son inauguration en 1900.

11 mar 2024 · A monument of stone, glass and metal, the Grand Palais blends into the urban landscape. However, on closer inspection, it is in fact bursting with colour, and one of the challenges of the restoration work currently underway is to restore all its chromatic ranges.

We are the “Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais”, or “Rmn-GP” for short. The name might seem complicated but, to put it simply, we are a new public cultural establishment that reports to the Minister for Culture and Communication.
