Founded in 1909, Loyola Academy is a co-educational college preparatory school rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Jesuit education is the oldest and most distributed system of secondary education in the world.
Loyola Academy is a private, co-educational college preparatory high school run by the USA Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus in Wilmette, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago, and in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago.
The admissions season is an emotional roller-coaster for everyone at Loyola. While we are proud of the achievements of the outgoing batch, we feel bereft at not being able to see them every day. At the same time, we eagerly await the arrival of new students because it heralds fresh hope.

Founded in 1909 on the campus of Loyola University Chicago, Loyola Academy has since moved north to its current campus in Wilmette, Ill., where it is the largest Jesuit high school in the United States with an enrollment exceeding 2,000 students per year.
