  5. 31 ago 2023 · The LFF will present a compelling and diverse programme of films, shorts, series and immersive works from 92 countries, featuring 79 languages playing across the 12 days of the festival. This includes 99 works made by female and non-binary filmmakers – 39% of the programme.

  6. 30 ott 2023 · The festival reached audiences of 430,550 across 12 days of screenings in London and UK-wide, including features, series, shorts, immersive art and extended reality works, Screen Talks, LFF For Free events, free short films on BFI Player and the LFF Industry Forum. 30 October 2023.

  7. The 25th festival opened on 4 November 1981 with a gala presentation of Gallipoli attended by Charles, Prince of Wales, the BFI patron, and Diana, Princess of Wales. It was the largest ever to date, featuring 127 films. It also expanded outside of London for the first time with 12 programmes playing in eight cinemas around the country.
