The Grand Ducal Burial Vault (Russian: Великокняжеская усыпальница) is the purpose-built mausoleum of the Grand Dukes and Duchesses of Russia in the Peter and Paul Fortress. The Neo-Baroque domed structure is frequently mistaken for a part of the Peter and Paul Cathedral due to architectural similarities.
Cappella dei Principi ("Chapel of the Princes" in English) is the mausoleum of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany and their families and is part of the museum complex of the Medici Chapels of Florence, adjacent to the Basilica di San Lorenzo [1]
It features the “Sagrestia Nuova”, whose architecture and sculptures are by Michelangelo Buonarroti, the “Cappella dei Principi”, a monumental grand ducal mausoleum, and the crypts below. The burial place of the Medici family, the Cappelle Medicee (Medici Chapels) are today a national monument and museum.

After the death of her five-year-old daughter Elisabeth, she had a small temple built as a mausoleum, designed by architect Georg Moller.
