Lord Alfred Henry Paget CB (26 June 1816 – 24 August 1888) was a British soldier, courtier and Liberal politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1837 and 1865. Lord Alfred Henry Paget (1816-1888) was the son of Henry William Paget (1768-1854), first Marquisof Anglesey and his second wife Charlotte, daughter of Earl Cadogen. Alfred was educated atWestminster School, became a lieutenant in 1834 and later joined his father's regiment, the 7thHussars, rising to the rank of general.

Biografia. Figlio di Lord Alfred Henry Paget e di sua moglie, Cecilia Wyndham, Arthur Paget venne commissionato ufficiale nelle Scots Guards già dal 1869. Egli prese parte con questo corpo militare alle Guerre Anglo-Ashanti nell'Africa occidentale e nel 1873 prestò servizio quindi in Sudan ed a Burma.
