His students represent the 50 years Lee Strasberg spent training actors—from the Group Theatre in 1931, through the Actors Studio and The Institute until 1981, and beyond through The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

In addition to Saturday and After-School classes during the traditional school year, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers summer day camps and intensives for students in grades 2-12. Our Young Actors summer programs are designed to encompass students at all levels and provide foundational training in Lee Strasberg’s world renowned Method Acting technique.

  4. Tuition is billed annually. All fees are applied to first tuition payment. Subject to annual tuition increase. *STRF Fee may apply ($2.50 per $1,000 of institutional charges as of 4/1/2022) Effective April 1, 2024, STRF will change to $0.00 per $1,000 of institutional charges.

  5. YOUNG ACTORS AT STRASBERG. The Young Actors Program at LSTFI offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 – 12. Our classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in The Method and tools to succeed in the professional industry – all while maintaining a fun and playful environment.

  7. With 22 hours of classes per week, this program emphasizes the fundamental aspects of The Method while ensuring concentrated but broad-based instruction in voice, movement, and theatre history. Upon successful completion of this program, students can apply their coursework toward the Two Year Conservatory (Certificate Program).
