Paul Giamatti plays himself, a sad-sack actor struggling to portray a character in a play, who decides to unburden himself of his soul, thanks to David Straithern's Soul Storage service.
Paul, an actor, is having trouble preparing for the title role in Chekhov’s “Uncle Vanya.” An article puts him in touch with a doctor who specializes in the extraction and exchange of souls. When Paul receives the essence of a Russian poet, his new soul takes over his life.

7 ago 2009 · Cold Souls in all actuality is a good film, the premise is actually quite intriguing with its traces of science fiction and comedy. In addition to Giamatti's usual phenomenal acting, as he portrays multiple states having different souls.
