29 apr 2024 · The Hawtreys is a small cul-de-sac of Harbour Avenue. The front door of the property is covered by a storm porch and is approached over a well-kept lawn and mature borders with shrubs and a tree. The entrance lobby opens into the living room and cloakroom. The living room is of a good size with the front-facing window fitted with shutters.

6 ago 2018 · The crisp white linen, nice cutlery and friendly welcome always make me look forward to my meal at Hawtreys. However, the cooking is not quite as good as the menu and dining room would lead you to expect. Pan seared scallops that in my view were over seasoned and too cooked. Lamb rump nicely cooked but the accompanying vegetables over seasoned.
