Set in 1930s Arabia, Black Gold tells of the transformation that Auda, a young prince, goes through. Destined for a life of study, he finds himself at the center of a conflict arising from the discovery of oil. Obliged to take up arms, he must choose between two enemies whose idea of the future are diametrically opposed.
