A cast of six, the locale centred around 100 or so square feet of a frozen-over lake, a monster that is seen more by its shadowy presence than any actual appearance. All solid possibilities for a horror film.

HYPOTHERMIA is only just about acceptable as a film. The title bears no relation to the plot and the cinematography is too dark and dingy. There are some cheap gore effects and a few scenes of menace but none of it means much.
