Made for TV movie, directed by Dan Curtis, also known for the original Dark Shadows series, so authentically British. The tone and timeframe of the setting feel accurate. Nice to see which bits that were taken for the Haunting of Bly House series. Lynn Redgrave at 31 playing the governess (Miss Jane Cubberly).
