The investigation about his 22 years missing sister leads him to the maze of grave sins of present and the past, where he has to fight not only with local criminals but his own demons too.
While I liked 'Valley of Angels' a lot the first time around, I appreciated it even more the second time. There are some slight negative points - the language content is at times overbearing and harsh and a few technical bumps - but there is not anything significant that I would flaw the film on. The acting is definitely the film's strongest point.

14 ott 2019 · VALAN – VALLEY OF ANGELS. Péter, a big city cop, investigates a sex trafficking ring in Brassov. He has dedicated his life to finding women who have disappeared. He sees his sister, Juli, in every girl he saves. Juli disappeared twenty-two years ago in their hometown, Valan, in the ensuing chaos of the Romanian Revolution of 1989.
The story kicks off in 1989 amidst the chaos of the Romanian revolution. Juli, a 13-year-old girl, disappears from Valan, a mining town in Transylvania. Twenty-two years later, her brother Péter is investigating human trafficking cases in the city of Brașov as a police detective.
