  5. But seventy years later, the Projections of America films have disappeared. The films were produced by the Office of War Information’s Overseas Motion Picture Bureau between 1942 and 1945. The project was headed up by the Academy Award-winning Hollywood screenwriter Robert Riskin, who had written many of Frank Capra’s greatest films (“It Happened One Night,” “Mr. Deeds Goes to Town”).
