Let It Ride is a 1989 American comedy film directed by Joe Pytka and starring Richard Dreyfuss, David Johanson, Teri Garr, Jennifer Tilly, Allen Garfield, Michelle Phillips, and Robbie Coltrane. Screenwriter Nancy Dowd (using the pseudonym "Ernest Morton") adapted it from the novel Good Vibes by Jay Cronley (who also wrote Quick Change , with which this film shares many of its quirks).
Must have had 300 choices of LP's, cassettes and even a few CD's, but our film collection was a small handful of VHS tapes. We had an extant but fading copy of Yessongs that my house-mate's sister taped off the TV in the early 80's, a copy of New Jack City that another buddy put on all too often and a VHS tape of Let It Ride that we watched way more than anything else.
