I would say the plot is pretty thin, but the mystery and weirdness of the film keeps you guessing and wondering what's going to happen. The ending had me wondering if the child in the attic was his actual kid or like a creepy wooden doll or something. Well it sucks for the Housekeeper who got buried in the ground at the end.
