10 giu 2023 · Aldo Cibic is honorary professor at the Tongji University, Shanghai. In 2023 he was awarded the honor of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. In 2023 he received the “Magnolia Silver Award” from the Shanghai municipality, in recognition of his contribution to the city's development and international exchanges.
Aldo Cibic. Aldo Cibic nasce a Schio (VI) nel 1955 e si avvicina al mondo del design da autodidatta. Nel 1977 diventa socio della Sottsass Associati, e nel 1981 è fra i fondatori di Memphis. Innovatore per vocazione, lontano da etichette di genere e forzature stilistiche, Cibic adotta da subito "la sperimentazione come prassi".
