He and Jennifer "Jini" Fiennes (1938–1993) were the parents of actors Ralph Fiennes and Joseph Fiennes, filmmakers Martha Fiennes and Sophie Fiennes, composer Magnus Fiennes and conservationist Jacob ("Jake") Fiennes. They also had a foster son, Michael Emery, an archaeologist. Jini Fiennes died from breast cancer in 1993, aged 55.

20 feb 2023 · Magnus Fiennes, the brother of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes, is behind the opening theme tune of Death in Paradise. He produced the arrangement of "You’re Wondering Now", which plays at the start of each episode, and was originally performed by Andy & Joey in the 1960s. There have also been interpretations by Amy Winehouse and The Specials.
