The School also provides financial assistance for uniform, travel, school meals, funding for IT devices and other incidental expenses to support the education of our bursary holders. Alleyn’s offers the bursaries as part of its standard admissions process each year for pupils joining in Years 7 and 12.
Frank joined Alleyn’s in September 2021. A member of the Senior Management Team he oversees the work of the Development and Alumni team. He works closely with supporters, alumni and staff to deliver a programme of fundraising and alumni engagement in support of the School’s strategy.

Transfer of Alleyn’s Junior School Pupils Although there is automatic transfer for Alleyn’s Junior School pupils to the Senior School, they are required to complete the Senior School’s 11+ admissions process. Normally they would expect to be offered an unconditional place in the Senior School.
In fact, around 10% of our senior school pupils receive significant help with fees, and we are committing to increasing this number over time. Our mean-tested bursaries may cover up to 100% of fees, and there is additional support available for extras such as school trips. Alleyn's warmly welcomes applications from children of all backgrounds, offering means-tested bursaries at 11+ and 16+ for those who need help with school fees. There are also scholarships for academic excellence, art, drama, music, DT and sport.

Our Annual Founder's Day sees the whole Alleyn's community come together for family-friendly fun, food, the arts and sport; all raising funds for a range of worthwhile House, School and APA charities. There is a swathe of activities for alumni and friends to enjoy.
