Merton’s History and English graduates have gone on to careers in Art History and International Relations as well as in English and History. History and Modern Languages: With tutors in French and Spanish and college lecturers in other languages, we admit students to study History and French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Merton, The House or College of Scholars of Merton in the University of Oxford, was founded in 1264 by Walter de Merton, Lord Chancellor and Bishop of Rochester, and it’s one of three ancient Oxford colleges founded in the thirteenth century.
My past and current research projects have a strong interdisciplinary outlook, with my current interests engaging closely with current research and activism in Disabilities Studies.
