Prince d'Orléans. Prince d'Orléans (French for 'Prince of Orleans ') is a title generally used by junior members of the Royal House of France instead of or in addition to the traditional Petit-fils de France. The current French royal family are descended in the male line from Philippe I, Duke of Orléans the younger son of Louis XIII of France.
This channel is formed by the Île d'Orléans (length: 33.1 kilometres (20.6 mi); width: 8.3 kilometres (5.2 mi)) which is bound to the southeast by the St. Lawrence River and to the northeast by the channel of Île d'Orléans. The surface of the Île d'Orléans channel is generally frozen from mid-December to the end of March.
