By 1975 she, boyfriend Chris Stein, Clem Burke, Jimy Destri, and Gary Valentine were the band Blondie, and while their first two albums were near misses, their third was PARALLEL LINES.

9 nov 2011 · I love Debbie Harry, for me this is her best solo album as it has a cohesion her other eclectic solo projects lacked. If you come across a copy of the original Gold Legion run of KooKoo snap it up, the booklet is beautifully done.
Im Sommer 1981 veröffentlichte Harry – des Blondie-Images ein wenig überdrüssig – ihr erstes Soloalbum unter dem Namen Debbie Harry. Koo Koo wurde von Nile Rodgers produziert, fand seinerzeit jedoch wenig Beachtung.
8 mar 2007 · Sporting one of the coolest album covers of its’ time, Debbie Harry’s 1981 solo release KOO KOO never reached the heights of success enjoyed by the Blondie albums, but time has been kind to KOO KOO and it actually sounds better now than it did back in the day.
