It will mark the singer songwriters first record in over four years and follows a period that found Hansard moving between collaborative work with Eddie Vedder and Cat Power to live performances with The Frames and Markéta Irglová/The Swell Season.

He found success by performing with his renowned band The Frames over twenty-five years ago, used as an inspiration for All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, and also appeared in John Carney’s romantic musical film Once (2007).
