THE SCHOOL DAY Starting the day. Morning drop-off is from 08:30 at the gate to the Walled Garden, for children in Key Stage One (Years 1 and 2). Children in Reception go to their classrooms from 08:30 where they are met by the teaching staff, who will welcome them into school.
Berkhamsted Boys move up to Berkhamsted Sixth where we offer our students a choice of 29 core A Level courses. The majority of Berkhamsted Sixth students study three subjects at A Level and we support them to achieve the highest possible grades in their chosen subjects. The Prep School will therefore have 80-88 children in each of the year groups which will reduce the maximum size of the school to about 335 pupils – and give these children a little more space too.
