Reading the interviews with Johnny Marr in Guitar Player and Guitar For The Practicing Musician magazines in 1990 when The The's 'Mind Bomb' album came out changed the way I thought about music. 'Set The Boy Free' is a wonderful insight into the man whose creativity did indeed shape much of the great guitar playing since 1983.
