Girton College. Il Girton College è un college dell' Università di Cambridge. È stato fondato il 16 ottobre 1869, ed era inizialmente riservato alle sole donne. Solo nel 1948, dopo l'ammissione delle donne all'università, il collegio è stato ufficialmente riconosciuto come tale. Dal 1979 vengono ammessi anche studenti maschi.

Bletchley Park Exhibition. A new exhibition tells the incredible story of Newnham College women’s war work, at Bletchley Park and beyond. More than 70 students and alumnae were secretly recruited for World War Two codebreaking work at Bletchley Park, thanks partly to the personal connections of three Newnham women: Alda Milner-Barry, former Principal Pernel Strachey and Ray Strachey.

Newnham College Library is one of the best-stocked undergraduate college libraries in Cambridge, with a collection of 100,000 volumes––including about 6,000 rare books. Divided into two sections, this depository consists of Champneys original Victorian Yates Thompson library and its award-winning, ultra-modern Horner Markwick extension.
