Jack H. Knott serves as the Gale and Ira Drukier Dean of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. Before joining NYU, he served as the Dean of the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where he held the C. Erwin and Ione L. Piper Chair in Public Policy and Management.
Hua-Yu Sebastian Cherng is a sociologist whose scholarly and community-based work focuses on the social lives of marginalized youth. His interests include comparative perspectives on race/ethnicity (with a focus on China and the US), immigrant adaptation, and social capital within the school and educational context.
Our Studio Art program is at the forefront of contemporary art practice, with MFA and BFA degrees and two undergraduate minor concentrations in the field of visual arts.
