Jeff Friedl is a studio and touring drummer as well as a co-founder of The Beta Machine, currently based in Los Angeles, California. Friedl has recorded, performed, and toured with musical acts such as Ashes Divide, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Devo, Filter and Carina Round.
The band's current lineup features Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, bassist Matt McJunkins, and drummer Jeff Friedl, the latter two also being contributors to the related Puscifer and Ashes Divide projects.
Jeff Friedl was a drummer for Devo from the late 2000s through 2023. [1] Friedl is a co-founder of both The Beta Machine and ShadowParty [working title "Stars of Suburbia"] [2] , [3] Jeff appeared in the "What We Do" video, and toured in support of "Something for Everybody".
