The school’s faculty is made up of experienced professionals from the Danish performing arts industry, and the curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad range of skills and knowledge. In addition to traditional classroom instruction, students participate in workshops, masterclasses, and other hands-on learning experiences.

The entry requirement for the programme is a degree in dance equivalent to Bachelor’s level and a passed admission test. The entry requirement for the programme is a passed admission test as well as a degree in Dance and Choreography equivalent to Bachelor’s level from The Danish National School of Performing Arts or another relevant higher education institution. All applicants with a qualifying degree must go through the same application process.
Besides that we are the only academy in Denmark offering degree programmes in folk/traditional music and film scoring. The Danish National School of Performing Arts is currently in the process of developing a series of new master’s programmes planned to commence in the 2026/2027 academic year. These forthcoming programmes will be more closely aligned with the school's bachelor’s programmes and will be offered in Danish.
