Eric Morecambe Statue, Morecambe, Lancashire. The statue of comedian Eric Morecambe (1926-1984) stands on Morecambe Pier in Lancashire. It was unveiled by the Queen in 1999. It is a tribute to one of Britain’s best-loved comedians. The sculptor of the larger-than-life statue was Graham Ibbeson.
