1 ago 2023 · Mychael Danna is a Canadian composer who was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1958. He started playing piano at the age of six and later learned to play the guitar, tabla, and other instruments. Danna studied music composition at the University of Toronto and later at the California Institute of the Arts, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree.

Leben und Leistungen. Er studierte Musikkomposition an der University of Toronto.Sein jüngerer Bruder ist der Musikkomponist Jeff Danna (* 1964). In einigen Filmen arbeiteten sie auch zusammen, zum Beispiel in Camelot (2011) oder in Der blutige Pfad Gottes (1999), bei dem Jeff die Originalmusik schrieb und Mychael den Song The Blood of Cuchulainn zum Soundtrack beisteuerte.
