22 mar 2011 · We had a movie in the 2009 Austin Film Festival and happened to see this one. It was sort of a fluke. We were actually there to see the movie that played before it and just decided to stay. Punching the Clown ended up being one of my favorite films of the festival. I've gone out of my way to check for it here on Amazon every couple of months.

9 lug 2017 · Hij berust. Hij is worsteling en tegenslag gewend. Hij is de anti-held. Dat gegeven werkt aangenaam grappig en draagt sterk bij aan de ironische ondertoon van de film. "And Punching the Clown" is een aangenaam komisch filmpje, waarin vooral de uitvergrote droogheid van tekst en handeling goed bevalt.
