Composed of striking visuals from around the island, passionate narration, and spirited surfing, Parker Hall’s film “Dangerously Average” is an ode to Nantucket’s surf community. Three years in the making, the film is set to premiere this Friday, August 18th, at 8 p.m. at Dan LeMaitre’s Gallery at 26 Easy Street.
The Nantucket Film Festival was founded in 1996 by siblings Jill and Jonathan Burkhart, who grew up on the island. In 1997, Mystelle Brabbée joined them and now serves as executive director. The Nantucket Film Festival Screenwriters Tribute. The NFF Screenwriters Tribute is a celebration of a noted screenwriter.

CURRAN:I’ve been working at NFF for six years, the 2016 edition (June 22-27) will be my seventh. I moved to New York City straight out of college to work in television production as a production assistant.
